Risk Management

The active configuration of risk management secures competitive advantages in the long run

The technical development stage is not, and never will be, the “only” success component of risk management. More important than mathematical models is the ability to deal with risks. Risks must be understood strategically and mastered organisationally. In order to achieve that, it is necessary to have a risk management which sensitises the workforce for the crucial dealing with risks and which involves it in the process.

This development can also be discerned by the examination of advanced approaches to the measurement of risks and capital adequacy given by the BaFin (German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority) although modelling is, of course, still an important factor, the procedural configuration is becoming more and more important.

In our project work, we attach value not only to a flawless, analytical risk management concept, but also emphasize the overcoming of concrete implementation hurdles such as operative data acquisition, IT-solutions and organisational involvement.
